Isabella is fascinated by the fusion of her passions, constantly exploring the overlaps between art and music, math and poetry, philosophy and physics. Among other things, she is a feminist, a New Yorker, an extrovert, and a lover of space.

Eleanor Leonne Bennett

Senior Art Editor

Eleanor is an internationally award winning artist of almost fifty awards. She was the CIWEM Young Environmental Photographer of The Year in 2013. Eleanor's photography has been published in British Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. Her work has been displayed around the world consistently for six years since the age of thirteen. In 2015, she created the anthology cover for the Austin International Poetry Festival. She is also featured in Schiffer's "Contemporary Wildlife Art."

Riley Grace Borden

Staff Writer

Riley Grace Borden, a high school senior, is an avid reader, runner, writer, editor, and blogger from a small island in the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys the ambiguity of cross-genre writing, and her published work can be found in the Eunoia Review, Five-2-One Magazine, Blue Marble Review, and others. She has not outgrown her tendency of hiding her books-in-progress under her bed pillow.

Troy Cabida

Senior Writing Editor

Troy Cabida is a Manila-born poet and editor currently based in London. A Barbican Young Poet, some of his poems have appeared on Bukambibig, Cha: An Asian Literary Journal, We Are A WebsiteEastlit, and The Ofi Press. He is currently a fiction editor for The Murmur House and has edited for Siblíní Journal and Thought Collection Publishing. He also helps curate London open mic night Poetry and Shaah. Micha Frazer-Carroll

Junior Writing Editor

Micha is a London-born poet and a journalist for a youth non-governmental organization. Barbican Young Poet of 2012-13, she has also been published in Miracle Magazine, and received several regional awards. She is currently pursuing a degree in Human, Social, and Political Sciences at the University of Cambridge.

Sarika Chawla

Sarika is a rising high school junior from Acton, Massachusetts. Her work has been recognized by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Further, she was the regional and national winner of Ekal Vidyalaya's poetry contest last year and has attended the Champlain College Young Writers' Conference. She is currently the editor-in-chief of her high school's literary magazine, Window Seat, and a tutor in her school library's writing center. Her favorite medium of writing is poetry but she also dabbles in short stories and personal narratives. Other than writing, she loves reading, singing, listening to music, learning Spanish, and studying biology.

 

Rachel Dean

Rachel Dean is a graduate student pursuing an MFA in Creative Nonfiction writing at Adelphi University. In the spare time between school and work, you might find her surrounded by a pile of books, madly underlining and footnoting her current read. Mahee Gandhi

Mahee is a rising sophomore from Chicago. In her leisure time, her passions consistent of: playing piano, exploring the city-life, photography, dancing, writing books, binge-watching a series of Netflix shows, and editing for Siblíni Journal and Polyphony H.S.! In Mahee's 7 years of playing piano, she has memorized 170 songs!

Kathryn Hargett

Junior Writing Editor

Kathryn is a rising junior at the Alabama School of Fine Arts, specializing in creative writing. Her poetry has been recognized in a number of national and state-level writing competitions, including the Nancy Thorp High School Poetry contest, the Gannon University National High School Poetry contest, the Alabama Literary Arts Awards, and the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. She has also been published in Polyphony HS, Canvas, Cadence, Teen Ink, and Wingspans, and is a 2015 poetry mentee with the Adroit Journal. She is addicted to foreign languages and believes that rock & roll can save her mortal soul.

Rachel Hertzberg

Rachel is originally from Minneapolis and is currently a student at Bryn Mawr College. She is a graduate of the Iowa Young Writers' Studio in 2013 and has been published in Cyrus Magazine, Parallax Online, The Rusty Nail, and Teen Ink. In 2015 she was the recipient of The Blake School's English award for Creative Writing.

Ashlyn Lackey

Senior Writing Editor

Ashlyn has been recognized by the New Jersey Live Poets Society and Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. She also won the Owen Smith Poetry Prize as a high school senior. During her time as editor of her high school's literary journal, the magazine was recognized by the National Council of Teachers of English. She now attends Princeton University.

Meredith Lemaître

Meredith LeMaître is a home-educated writer and dancer from Brighton, UK.
Her poems have previously been published in Hebe Poetry Magazine, Poetry Rivals: Young Writers' anthology (Finalist) and a local paper.
She loves writing, crafting, acroyoga, ballet, and is interested in colour, fashion and languages.

Archita Mittra

Archita loves to tell stories with words and images, and has a fondness for the vintage and the darkly fantastical. A student of English Literature at Jadavpur University, she is also pursuing a Diploma in Multimedia and Animation from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. Avleen K. Mokha

Avleen is a student at McGill University, majoring in English Literature and Linguistics. She is a contributor for the McGill Tribune and a poet (http://mapoesie.tumblr.com/). She also works as a poetry editor and staff judge for Persephone’s Daughters and its film division, Girls Don’t Cry. Her work has previously appeared in Canvas Literary Journal. She splits her time between Montreal and Mumbai.

Varun Ramaprasad

Varun is a sophomore at IISER-Kolkata located in India. He is an attentive listener and tries Varun is a budding physicist, interested in studying the exotic world of particles and interactions. He travels in his free time and considers it as a back-up if everything else fails in life! He’s specifically interested in the culture and literature of South India, with emphasis on the western influences on the Indian narrative. Leighton Seer

Leighton was raised in Texas by her Welsh father. She holds a BSci in Radio-TV-Film and an MA in Animation. She is currently studying for an MFA in Creative Writing. She moved to England in 2013, became a dual citizen, and has been searching for a decent margarita ever since. Her future plans include being the neighbourhood witch and taking up beekeeping. She is currently working on her first novel.

Smriti Verma

Smriti Verma is an adolescent Delhite from India, whose work has been published in Open Road Review and the DoveTales Anthology. She has won seventh position in an international writing contest organised by Laura Thomas Communications, received a manuscript consultation from a published author and is currently in the process of experimenting with poetry styles after winning first prize in a poetry contest held by the University of Warwick. Other than that, she is a First Reader for Polyphony HS and Junior Editor at Siblíni Journal.
